Sarah develops strategic solutions to complex communications problems through her collaborative leadership style. With a background in socially driven storytelling, fundraising, and marketing, she combines bold messaging with data-driven insights to create powerful campaigns for clients like the Rockefeller Foundation, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and the Generosity Commission. Before joining Hattaway, Sarah worked for the Mind & Life Institute and as faculty at the University of Virginia. She has master’s degrees in English and applied linguistics, and a doctoral degree in rhetoric. In her free time, Sarah teaches yoga, bakes elaborate desserts, and attempts to see the world through her dog’s eyes.
